Follow the Pope’s USA Visit

The Apostolic Journey of Pope Francis to the United States will include stops in Washington, D.C., New York City, and Philadelphia.

He will arrive in the nation’s capital on Sept. 22. While here, he will meet with President Barack Obama, address a joint session of Congress, and celebrate an outdoor Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception at which he will canonize Blessed Junípero Serra.

In New York, Pope Francis will address the United Nations General Assembly, visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and celebrate a Mass in Madison Square Garden.

In Philadelphia, the Pope will attend the World Meeting of Families and celebrate Mass on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway outside the Philadelphia Art Museum.
