Kathleen A Russell: Thankful for the Gift of ‘This Beautiful Faith’

The efforts to make a very special experience for all was very much appreciated.  The volunteers worked tirelessly. It was awesome to see  the many young people present at the Mass. They had so patiently waited in line to participate in the Mass.

I am a distance learning student in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Catholic University.  I was ecstatic when I received the ticket to be at the Mass and so excited to visit the campus of the school I attend.  The Basilica is a beautiful testament to the Faith and fidelity of those who worked tirelessly to construct it.  I was moved by the experience and so thankful for my parents and grandparents efforts to instill this beautiful faith in our generation.  I hope that I am continuing to show the beauty of our faith in everything I do and in those I interact with daily.
